Day 1: NAIROBI
Arrival of your international flight into the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi You will be met by Sir Michaels Safaris representative outside the customs and immigration halls.
Transfer to Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel
The name “Nairobi” comes from the Maasai phrase Enkare Nyirobi, which translates to “the place of cool waters”. However, it is popularly known as the “Green City in the Sun” and is surrounded by several expanding villa suburbs.The largest and most populous city in East Africa, with a current estimated population of about 3 million, Nairobi started life as a railways depot in 1899. Today, the city skyline is dominated by modern high rise buildings and is a tourism and trade hub. Nairobi is now one of the most prominent cities in Africa politically and financially. A vibrant city with a mix of races and cultures, providing the visitor with several sightseeing options such as museums, a national park, golf courses, resorts and posh night clubs. Nairobi is one of the leading cities in Africa.
Later, head out for Nairobi Safari Walk, as well as a visit to the Giraffe Center of the AFEW protecting the endangered Rotschild Giraffe.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: NAIROBI – OL PEJETA GAME CONSERVANCY
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. You will be briefed on your safari and then introduced to your driver-guide before departing to the Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy.
The Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of the sanctuary guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.
Stop-over at the Equator crossing along the way. Arrive and check-in at the SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP followed by lunch. Afternoon game drive that will also include a visit of the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the Rhino Research Centre. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 3: OL PEJETA GAME CONSERVANCY – LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast, check-out and depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, situated in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive and check-in at NAKURU SOPA LODGE followed by lunch. Depart for an afternoon game drive in the park and around the alkaline lake.
Lake Nakuru National Park, the world famous haunt for pink flamingos, is a shallow alkaline lake in Kenya’s Rift Valley and some 62 km2 in extent. The road from Nairobi to Nakuru passes down the Kikuyu escarpment with fine views of the Kedong Valley and Mounts Suswa and Longonot. The landscape is picturesque, areas of sedge, marsh and grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrop. In late 80’s the park also became Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and is today home to both the White and Black Rhinos. Lions, leopards, hippos, giraffes, waterbucks are equally at home in this unique park.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA
Breakfast at the lodge then depart to Lake Naivasha. Arrive and check-in at LAKE NAIVASHA NAIVASHA SOPA.
Lunch. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat ride on the lake, which will give you a close-up look at the hippos. Visit the Crescent Island, almost the ‘garden of Eden’ for a walking safari.
Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. The lake and its surrounds are rich in natural bounty, and the fertile soils and water supply have made this one of Kenya’s prime agricultural regions. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with bird life, and Naivasha is known as a world class birding destination. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo population sleeps the day out in the shallows. Meals and overnight stay at the club.
Day 5: LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA
Breakfast, check-out then drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok Town.
Arrive and check in for lunch at MARA SOPA LODGE. In the afternoon, depart for a game drive in the reserve until sundown
Masai Mara offers an absolutely unique variety of animals thanks to the hilly region both humid and fertile, and criss-crossed by the rivers Mara and Talek, full of crocodiles and hippos; These perennial rivers carry water the whole year round. The banks of the rivers are covered in thick forest, which gradually makes way for bush and grassland. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are some of the reasons for a high density of wildlife here. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: MASAI MARA
Full day spent in the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 7: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI – DEPART
Breakfast at the camp, check-out then drive to Nairobi. Arrive and transfer to the airport for your international return flight out / onward arrangements.
